Laboratory Department:
Our trained and experienced laboratory staff is constantly creating new formulations, using only FDA approved materials. We work together and with our customers to create color cosmetics, skin care products, liquid foundations, water-based lip stains, plumping products, powders and many more products. Our laboratory is equipped with heating plates, electronic scales, pH meter, melting point apparatus, stability ovens, and viscometer. These trained technicians also overlook and approve all specifications for every batch produced.
Batching Department:
Ran by Rudy and Butch, the batching department at Quality Cosmetics runs smoothly with the capacity to produce 20 batches a day. Our trained personnel record lot numbers for every raw material added. All specifications and instructions are provided directly to the batch compounder. Our batching department is separated into two rooms: water products and color cosmetics. Our batching departments have kettles to fulfill 10-1,000 pound capacity. All raw materials used in batching undergo a thorough approval process by our staff before they are accepted from our supplier, as per usual FDA protocol.
